IAM-represented flight attendants are fighting for a minimum 10-hours rest. They want it included in the FAA Reauthorization Bill so it will match the 10-hour minimum provided to commercial airline pilots. Flight attendants lobbied on Capitol Hill in January and plan to return this month.
Robert Martinez, Jr. was sworn in this week as the 14th International President in the history of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
